Saving on grocery shopping and spending
- Look out for promotions and special offers and buy family packs where possible.
- Choose products that are private labels of the respective supermarket. They are usually cheaper than the actual branded items.
- Buy fruits and vegetables that are in season.
- If possible, avoid convenience products, i.e. products or meals that are already pre-cooked.
- Shop with a list - and a full stomach. That way, you'll be less tempted to add too many extras to your basket.
Saving on major and minor purchases/expenses
